Mini Sephora Haul

sephora products

I recently went to Sephora to restock on a couple of my everyday beauty items and to pick up a couple of things to try out.

Ole Henriksen Sheer Transformation moisturizer - I finished up my summer night-time moisturizer and was in the market for a new one for the transition between seasons. I have been a long-time reader of Sandra's blog and always appreciate her skincare recommendations. When she mentioned this helps to fade spots/scarring, I was sold.

Caudalie Beauty Elixir - I first tried this as part of a sampler set that I bought from Sephora. It's part toner, part serum and so refreshing on the skin. It's now a part of my nightly skincare routine, but I can't bring myself to shell out $53 for the 3.4oz bottle.

Hourglass Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil - I've never filled in my brows as part of my beauty routine. My brows are pretty full and I never saw a need to do anything with them, except for tweezing and trimming them. After doing some careful research, I decided on the Hourglass pencil in Dark Brunette to see if this will change my mind.

Kat Von D Ink Liner - My favourite liquid liner that I've found so far. It has a felt tip and the right amount of stiffness to draw the perfect line.

  1. Sephora hauls are my favorite! I like using the Caudalie beauty elixir to set my makeup but I have to agree with you, it's expensive for what it is. I feel that other Caudalie products are give much better results for their price. Let me know what you think of the brow sculpting pencil. I actually fill my brows in everyday and I'm always on the market to try new pencils/powders.

    Cheers,

    1. A review of the brow pencil will be coming soon!
Since the beauty elixir is so expensive, I'm looking for alternatives that are cheaper but still give me the effects I like from the beauty elixir.

      Thanks for visiting!

  2. HOURGLASS ARCH!!! I hope you'll love it! Soft Bunette is my all-time HG brow product. I always have a couple of backups sitting around (Hourglass is very pricey here, so I get friends who travel to the US to get a couple back for me). I opted for Soft Brunette instead of Dark Brunette despite my hair color because dark brows tend to look harsh on me. Soft Brunette is JUST right :)

    1. I'm enjoying it so far, but I think I'll have to try out other brow products before I settle on my HG brow product.

      Thanks for stopping by!

  4. Nice haul! I desperately wish we had sephora where I live! Yikes that elixir is pricey, but it must be good :)
